This year the 45th Nordic Dairy Congress 2020 will take place from 27-29 May 2020 at Hotel Clarion Malmö Live in Malmö, Sweden. The congress also offers an early bird discount.
“Dairy opportunities of tomorrow” is the theme of the congress and the common thread throughout the programme is a relevant selection of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Delivering on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and fixing the climate crisis is the center of attention around the world and the debate is challenging the dairy industry to perform even better. However, the dairy sector remains part of the solution in feeding a growing world population – making sure that people around the world get the valuable and essential nutrients that dairy products and dairy ingredients provide.
With more than 40 international and highly recommended speakers the congress programme will guarantee a lot of learnings and take-aways from the two and a half days of conference. The programme also consists of half a day visit to Tetra Pak’s impressive site in Lund, which has 3500 employees working with processing,- service- and packaging solutions.
This visit will be followed by two days of the conference with a number of very interesting keynote presentations, a panel debate between strong business profiles from the dairy industry, organisations as well as the supplier industry. Almost thirty presentations within six subthemes will fill the programme with cases, studies and new knowledges, that will inspire new opportunities for the dairy industry as well as further efforts in the climate crisis.
Among the speakers there will be leading researchers and top executives from dairy companies, among these Arla Foods and Norrmejerier. Christian Hansen is also represented, with CEO Mauricio Graber who will talk about natural solutions to different types of food.
The Nordic Dairy Congress 2020 will be no. 45 of dairy congresses organised in the cooperation between dairy organisations the Nordic countries. This year the organisers celebrate the 100-year anniversary and to underline and expand the international approach, UK – represented by Society of Dairy Technology – has joined the cooperation.
